Personalized Medication Testing

At Southside Diabetes & Integrated Care, we offer pharmacogenetic testing to identify which medications are safest and most effective for you. This personalized approach ensures your treatment is tailored to your unique genetic profile. We collect a simple saliva sample at our clinic and send it to the lab. Within 7–10 business days, you’ll receive your results, which our providers will review to create a customized medication plan designed for your needs.

This test is 100% covered by Medicare and Medicaid, and may also be fully or partially covered by Tricare and commercial insurance plans. The lab will contact you directly about any costs. Maximum out-of-pocket cost is $295, with financial assistance and payment plans available.

Spravato for Treatment Resistant Depression

At Southside Diabetes & Integrated Care, we offer Spravato® as an advanced option for individuals struggling with treatment-resistant depression, especially when traditional medications have not provided relief. Spravato® is administered as a nasal spray and may also be considered for patients experiencing acute suicidal thoughts under clinical supervision.

This treatment is only provided in a certified medical setting for safety and effectiveness. Each patient is evaluated by our mental health team to determine eligibility and create a personalized care plan.
