The ideal candidate will be responsible for patient education and training on insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors (CGMs). Responsibilities:
– Patient Training: Schedule and conduct training sessions for patients new to insulin pumps or continuous glucose monitors (CGMs).
– Education & Support: Provide ongoing support and education to patients and their families, fostering a compassionate and encouraging environment.
– Collaboration: Work closely with practice providers to ensure coordinated care and the highest standards of patient treatment.
– Adaptation: Tailor educational materials and training to meet the needs of diverse patient populations.
– Additional Duties: Assist with other tasks as needed to support the overall functioning of the practice.

Requirements:
– Qualifications: Proven experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
– Training Skills: Experience in product training and development of training materials.
– Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
– Analytical Ability: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess patient needs and adapt care plans accordingly.
– Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
– Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team and establish positive working relationships.
– Patient-Centered Care: Passion for providing compassionate care to diverse patient populations.
– Licensure: Active Virginia state license (RN or RDN).
